Guardian of the Apocalypse

In Year 262 of the Dragon Calendar, global warming accelerates, melting polar ice caps and rising sea levels submerge coastal nations. As ocean temperatures rise, ancient sea monsters sleep beneath the waves awaken to reclaim human territory and wage war, placing humanity in mortal peril. On January 1st of Year 263, the tenth-level sea beast 'Tao Tie' lands on the last remaining landmass of humanity, the Kingdom of Apocalypse. Led by General Chen Feng, the elite mech squad of the Kingdom, the Dragon Squad, which previously slew a ninth-level beast in the North, engages 'Tao Tie'. By March 12th of Year 263, the entire Dragon Squad is wiped out.
