Ming Dynasty Teenagers

Wokou pirates, colluding with internal traitors, launch a surprise attack on Jiangning Town. In Yingtian Prefecture, the unruly military officer's son Xu Zhi befriends the pirate youth Xiong Er. When the pirates assault Yingtian, Xu Zhi's comrade Li Wan is killed by Xiong Er, and female officials are abducted. Xu Zhi and other teenagers, united with scholar-official Zhang Wen, attempt revenge but fall into an ambush and suffer a disastrous defeat. To avoid being held hostage, Zhang Wen and other scholar-officials sacrifice themselves by jumping from the city walls. Inspired by the common people and with the help of Yan Hua, who realizes the truth and dies to assist them, the teenagers decisively defeat the pirates in a counter-ambush. In the end, Xu Zhi personally kills Xiong Er, placing national duty above personal affection.
