Hardworking migrant worker Lin Daniu falls into gambling debt, dragging his family into ruin. His son, Lin Che, witnessing the damage, masters the art of sleight of hand from a master. Arriving at his father's construction site, Lin Che finds his father gambling again and accumulating more debt.
