The Disappearing Lover

Lawyer Qin Guan appears to be a perfect husband to the Gu family, but he is actually having an affair with his assistant Qi Min. While playing a dangerous game of infidelity, Qin Guan accidentally causes Qi Min's 'death' and hides her body to fake her disappearance. Unexpectedly, Qi Min faked her death and teams up with her mother, Zeng Demei, to blackmail Qin Guan. Qin Guan's wife, Xu Ruyi, has already noticed her husband's strange behavior, and the police investigation uncovers Qin Guan's past of killing his in-laws. Xu Ruyi, along with nanny Aunt Feng and her son Xiao Zhi, collects evidence and guides the police. Eventually, under the pressure of multiple parties and overwhelming evidence, Qin Guan collapses, admits all his crimes, and pays the price for his greed and selfishness.
