Exiled to Scrap: I Fix the Starship with a Pressure Cooker
Genius machinist Lin Chen is framed by colleagues and exiled to a derelict mining colony on a junk planet. During the transport of an interstellar vessel, a critical engine cooling pipe ruptures, threatening a total explosion within three minutes. In this desperate moment, Lin Chen utilizes his decades of mechanical expertise, repurposing a kitchen pressure cooker as an emergency seal and using simple tools to access the maintenance hatch. He successfully repairs the damaged piping right there, averting the catastrophic engine explosion. Along the way, he accidentally saves the entire crew, turning the abandoned planet into his new beginning. What he aims to fix is not just the broken starship, but his own fate.
