Taming the Ghosts: Life and Death Register

Eerie entities invade, turning the human world into a hellish prison where only Spirit Tamer Tang Ji can fight back. After buying flowers for his crush, Tang Ji is torn apart by a Heart-Eating Ghost and dies horribly. The Life and Death Register unexpectedly bonds to him, allowing him to return to life through corpses and extend his life using Yin energy. He summons Ox and Horse Heads, restrains evil ghosts, and saves an innocent mother and daughter. From then on, he gradually contracts Chinese ghosts and gods, including the Black and White无常, Day and Night Roaming Spirits, the Four Judges, the City God, and the King of Hell. Years later, while others contract spirits and evil ghosts, he stands atop the clouds overlooking humanity, declaring, 'You contract ghosts, but I contract gods.'
