I Got a Lifeline After Death

After being attacked by a vicious beast during a livestream, Li Budu wakes up transformed into a zombie. Team Leader Zhang Zhongyi from Bureau 749 appears, informing him that he is bound by corpse qi and must join the bureau to earn points for exchanging Golden Rooster blood to suppress his stiffening. Initially wanting to relax and secure a position, Li Budu is relentlessly hunted by S-rank vengeful ghosts, the Three Immortals Sect, and the evil cultivator Zhao Nan. With the help of teammates An Lan and corpse thief Tang Hu, Li Budu rapidly levels up using the Ancestor of Zombie techniques and his unique constitution, ascending from Purple Zombie to Flying Zombie, then swallowing the inner essence of the Zombie King to become a Wandering Zombie. In the deputy team selection match, he slaps Zhao Nan down, exposes his evil cultivator identity, successfully joins the bureau and rises to power, beginning his journey as a Bureau 749 employee.
