The Corpse Collector
After becoming a corpse collector, Ning Yan buries his father only to discover the cause of death is linked to the Chu family and Chu Yiyi. Upon visiting the Chu mansion, he finds the family plagued by a century-old curse and overwhelming resentment, which only a corpse collector can resolve. Using the soul-carrying technique to calm the resentment, Ning Yan is targeted by Zhang Daozhang, who covets the ancestral soul-suppressing sword. Learning his father was ambushed and killed by Zhang Daozhang and the Tai Xuan Mountain Taoist Temple, Ning Yan teams up with the Chu family elder, Chu Yiyi, to thwart the conspiracy of the three great families and kill Zhang Daozhang. Finally, the two climb Tai Xuan Mountain, sacrifice themselves and their obsession to break the Bagua stone, execute the Saint Master to avenge their father, and fulfill Ning Yan's promise to protect the citizens of Jiangcheng while achieving a happy ending with Chu Yiyi.
