After the Storm, No Return

On their wedding day, Jiang Che was abandoned by his bride, Lin Yan, who chose her ex-boyfriend, Song Shiyen. Three months later, pregnant Lin Yan returned and, under Song's instigation, repeatedly hurt Jiang Che until he lost all hope. Then, pregnant Wen Ruoying appeared, and Jiang Che chose to take responsibility and protect her. As Song Shiyen's massive debts, lies, and child abuse crimes were exposed, the obsessed Lin Yan dragged down her family. After Lin Company went bankrupt, she finally repented, but it was too late. She ultimately sacrificed her life to save Jiang Che and make amends. Jiang Che then lived with Wen Ruoying, finally finding peace and happiness.
