God-Slaying Suona

Wei Qi, a prodigy from a renowned suona family, secretly mastered her craft since childhood. When traitors attacked the family, she stepped forward to defend their honor, but her brilliance exposed her identity and shattered her eardrums. Deafened, she learned to truly feel music under the guidance of Song Jinye, a master of folk instruments. Together, they thwarted a plot by traitors colluding with foreign forces to register folk music as an intangible cultural heritage, ultimately revitalizing the art with a powerful rendition of 'A Hundred Birds Paying Homage to the Phoenix'.
