The Vanished Child
Left-behind girl Xingxing suddenly disappears while grazing sheep behind the village, sending panic through the community. Zhang Mazzi, just released from prison and harboring old grudges with Xingxing's father Wang Qiang, becomes the primary suspect. During the search, the group encounters suspicious outsiders stealing dogs and unexpectedly meets the 'savages' who abducted Xingxing. The Wang couple rushes back home to join villagers in tracking up the mountain, but they keep getting lost in confusion. As the true identity of the 'savages' draws closer, Zhang Mazzi's strange behavior and Grandma Yulan's odd actions make the disappearance case increasingly mysterious.
