Captive Mountain Bride Refuses Fate

College student Lin Xi is kidnapped by traffickers and forced to marry a mountain dweller with mental disabilities, becoming a captive bride. In her dark prison, she reunites with her mother, Xiu Lan, who was also trafficked eight years ago; a madwoman teacher who feigned insanity for twenty years while holding the village's blood debt; and Chen Mo, a rural doctor who has been hiding in the mountains to avenge his sister. Facing abuse, imprisonment, and threats of being silenced, they refuse to accept their fate! Through clever strategies against the villains and gathering irrefutable evidence, these four souls crushed by destiny form the strongest alliance of resistance, fighting the darkness of the deep mountains with the faint light of fireflies.
