Short Youth, Long Memories

At 28, Su Nian moves and accidentally finds a yellowed letter in a hidden compartment of an old music box, signed by her high school classmate Jiang Yu. The letter reveals the summer she forgot: deliberate glances in the hallway, a black umbrella tilted heavily in the rain, and silent gazes in the library. Those moments she thought meaningless were actually a boy's long-accumulated courage. Ten years later, when the letter is finally opened, the person who tilted the umbrella toward her, getting half his shoulder wet, has already disappeared into the crowd.
