Your Majesty and Empress, We're Done

Meng Tang, the gentle and compliant Empress, willingly accepts Emperor Chu Yi's new concubine. Even knowing the medicine is an anti-pregnancy potion, she drinks it and uses her own heart's blood to ease his pain. In reality, she is a time traveler watching her favor progress bar. When the rebel army attacks, Meng Tang, having maxed out his favor, jumps from the balcony to return to modern times, leaving behind Chu Yi who holds her corpse, weeps in regret, and descends into madness.
