The Cost of Brotherhood

Salesman Gu Yang devotes himself to helping his childhood friend Sun Peng run a restaurant, frequently bringing customers and spending vast amounts of money and social connections over nine months. However, Sun Peng's father mistakenly believes Gu Yang is mooching and publicly humiliates him in front of everyone, while Sun Peng witnesses the entire scene but remains silent. Heartbroken, Gu Yang cuts off the brotherhood and stops promoting the restaurant, causing its business to rapidly decline. In his downfall, Sun Peng repeatedly纠缠s Gu Yang to reconcile and colludes with self-media to spread rumors and smear Gu Yang's reputation. Holding evidence, Gu Yang calmly counters, leveraging his own vision and capabilities to become a partner of a high-end restaurant, while Sun Peng sinks deeper due to greed and selfishness.
