From the Flames

Firefighter Lu Jinran abandons his family business to protect the city with his body and blood. He marries writer Ye Ning, supported by his father, but his career keeps him away, so she waits silently with understanding. During a massive fire, Lu Jinran saves his comrade's widow, Joey, while trapped Ye Ning's faith wavers. Joey becomes twistedly dependent on Lu Jinran, deliberately sowing discord, creating misunderstandings, and even lying about being pregnant, causing Ye Ning to lose hope and propose divorce. After enduring tests of fire and life and death, Lu Jinran and Ye Ning not only clear up the misunderstandings but also learn to respect and understand each other.
