Mechanical God Descends
Lu Yuan, a disabled scavenger in District 9, finds a military-grade micro-nano core in the Steel Graveyard to raise money for his sister, Xiaoxi, who suffers from radiation sickness. The core fuses with his prosthetic arm, initiating his mechanical evolution. He crafts a scrap-metal right arm and a super-sense radar eye, defeats the Steel Bone Gang that oppresses the poor, and merges with an iron-armored giant lizard gene to gain metal keratin armor. After evading the pursuit of Deputy Captain Zhao Jianguo of the Public Security Bureau, he seizes a military cold nuclear fusion core, evolving into a high-energy electromagnetic right arm. Fleeing to District 10, Lu Yuan steals a carbon-based bio-membrane from the Oracle Consortium, awakening fluid nano-armoring and super-sense predictive abilities.
