To raise funds for his father's hip replacement surgery, Shen Changbin leaves for work but fails after being scammed, so he switches to delivering food. By working diligently, he saves money, meets fellow villager Da Long, and rescues Song Yan from being coerced by the scammer Hu Qing. After punishing the factory boss Wang Dan for his crimes, Shen Changbin accidentally causes his sister and Song Yan to lose their jobs. When his father's condition worsens, Song Yan uses her savings to help them through the crisis. Later, Shen Changbin joins forces with others to thwart Wang Dan and Hu Qing's kidnapping plot, saving the factory director's son. Grateful for their help, the director supports all three. Shen Changbin earns a promotion after donating stem cells to save a life, and his father successfully recovers.
