When Wolves Arrive, Bring the Rifle

Japanese invasion shatters the peace of Xuefeng Mountain. Underground party member Xiao Hongxia teams up with one-armed Red Army veteran He Qingwei to reorganize the Yao village's 'Border Guard', led by Lan Chunlei and other local forces, into the 'Rifle Self-Defense Team'. Armed with rifles and using the terrain, they ambush and harass the enemy, escort Flying Tiger pilots, and help the front-line battle eliminate the enemy brigade commander. The story deeply highlights the unyielding spirit of the Chinese nation's resistance and the power of ethnic unity, while emphasizing the core leadership role of the Communist Party underground.
